Summary: Landslides are natural processes that promote changes on slopes. As a result, this
work aimed to identify and assess the spatial distribution of areas prone to Shallow
Translational Landslides in the Fradinhos drainage basin, located in the municipality of
Vitória, ES, taking into account the extreme rainfall event of 2013. The Fradinhos river
drainage basin is located in Vitória Metropolitan Region (RMGV) and presents
occurrences of Mass Movements, a fact that corroborated to develop this work. For

the data modelling, the Transient Rainfall Infiltration and Grid-Based Regional Slope-
Stability Model (TRIGRS) was used, along with an elevation model with a spatial

resolution of five meters and data from five field collection points. This study aimed to
understand the spatiality of mass movement processes and the role of rainfall in the
dynamics of the basin`s topography, while also contributing to territorial management.

Keywords: Geomorphology; Translational slides; TRIGRS; Urbanization; Vitória.
